Chakra Healing For Burning Fat

For those of you who have been following me for a while know, I predominantly focus on the physical and mental aspects of hormone balance and fat metabolism. I often talk about certain hormones, how they drive fat storage or fat burning and what you can do to balance these hormones to lose weight, unlock energy and feel peace and calm. I also talk about self sabotage and how you can train the neurological pathways in your brain to create new patterns of health and well-being. But what I don’t often talk about and one of the most powerful ways you can heal the underlying damage to your body and therefore thrive, is cleansing your chakras or energy fields that surround your body.

In order for all your systems in your body to function optimally the circuit board or energy running through those systems and organs must be clean, clear and flowing easily. I am no expert in chakras or spiritual realms for that matter, but I am a scientist and it is a matter of science that energy must flow for the light bulb to glow.

Energy must flow for the light bulb to glow

A humbling discovery of mine when I first started working with women looking to lose weight, was the frequency of abuse. Often physical abuse in childhood but mental and emotional abuse is also extremely common. But if it wasn’t abuse there is also trauma in the forms of parents separating, domestic violence and abandonment and so much more. In essence, each person experiencing excess weight, is carrying an emotional load too. But why and how does that affect the bodies ability to burn fat, lose weight, be healthy and thrive?

Well firstly as we experience events in life, emotional energy and thought forms are generated and enter the body and energy fields surrounding the body. If they are not released the emotional energy and thought forms are stored in and around the body interrupting energy flow. Emotional energy vibrates at a certain vibration depending on the type of emotion and is stored in the organ that vibrates at the same frequency. Anger for example is stored in the liver.

The emotional memory of these experiences is stored in the limbic system of the brain. Our mind then goes on to create a belief and attach it to the emotional memory that is stored in the brain. Our emotional response to the event gets stored in our cellular memory throughout the body and becomes automatic.

The etheric body which is the energy field immediately surrounding the body conducts the energy to the physical body. Energy currents run in lines down and over the whole body and are called meridians. The points where many of these lines come together are called chakras and there are 7 major chakras. If flow becomes blocked or there is a disconnection, body systems or organs do not receive sufficient energy and start to deterioriate. This can start with tiredness and eventually leads to chronic illness and disease.

The etheric body is surrounded by the astral or emotional body, followed by the mental body, although these can vary depending on whether you are emotionally charged, level of consciousness, age  etc. Essentially the goal is to refine and integrate these energy fields surrounding the body for optimal health.

One of my favourite but most simple methods is not to avoid emotions and thoughts but to instead become an observer to them. To allow thoughts and feelings to wash over the body and be released. To not be immersed in them but to step out and see them just as they are. In most cases this is sufficient on its own to weather any emotional storm.

We have however, after years of abuse with negative thoughts, stored emotions, chemicals and toxicity damaged the energy fields around our bodies, causing holes and tears with much stored debris interrupting flow and causing poor health. The first base chakra is the root chakra which is connected to the ability to feel safe, grounded and within our bodies. Victims of abuse for example can often disconnect from their physical body as a survival mechanism, this breaks the connection and prevents energy flowing upwards through the body. In my experience this disconnect and the need for protection increases fat storage around the hips and thigh area.

There are many ways to cleanse your chakra which varies depending on where the blocked flow is. To be honest there are plenty of chakra cleansing rituals, for specific chakras and whole chakra cleansing which I won’t go into them too much today. What I have found though, is most practices are short lasting, temporarily restoring holes and creating a short reprieve while the underlying pattern remains. So with my focus on health and weight loss that is natural, sustainable and easy I am always looking to heal the underlying cause rather than a quick fix.

"While herbs are used primarily for physical symptoms, essential oils as used in this therapy, have the power to cleanse and health the aura in the most profound way. They neutralise irradiation the energy field and heal holes, tears and weak areas. They catalyse the clearing of negative pockets of emotional and mental debris, strengthening the energy field."

After years of using strategies for the physical and mental body, and learning and practicing everything I can about the emotional and spiritual body, I am totally blown away by the power of essential oils to release negative emotions stored at a cellular level as well as the memory stored in the brain, so that the energy pathways are clear and energy flows in an out without being triggered emotionally. Less emotional triggers allows the body to feel safe which is essential for fat metabolism. In my personally experience I have never seen such rapid release and improvement in symptoms as those using oils and energy work to release stored trauma.
